1. Using HouseKeepr
HouseKeepr is a home-cleaning and household-management service. You may use it to organize chores, rooms, supplies, household activity, shared responsibilities, child profiles, and related recommendations. You are responsible for the information you enter and for using the service lawfully and safely.
2. Accounts and access
Full HouseKeepr accounts require authenticated access. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials in a way that would let another person bypass the permissions or controls intended for them.
Household creators are responsible for managing household membership and the permissions they grant to household members.
3. Child profiles
Child profiles are parent- or guardian-managed profiles under a household. They are not independent user accounts and do not require a child email address. A parent or guardian must create and supervise the profile, choose the household access code and child PIN, assign chores, and decide when the child's access should be changed or disabled.
You agree not to use Child Access to give a child broader account or household-administration access than the child-profile experience provides. The adult household creator remains responsible for the profile and the information associated with it.
4. Home IQ, Supply IQ, and recommendations
Home IQ, Supply IQ, chore priorities, timing estimates, product suggestions, fairness suggestions, and other intelligence features are informational tools based on the information available to HouseKeepr. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate, especially while the system is still learning.
You remain responsible for deciding what cleaning, household, maintenance, product, or purchasing action is appropriate for your home. HouseKeepr is not a substitute for professional safety, health, repair, pest-control, appliance, chemical, or other specialist advice.
5. Cleaning products and safety
Always follow product labels, manufacturer directions, surface-care instructions, ventilation guidance, and safety warnings. Do not rely solely on HouseKeepr's chore or supply matching when deciding whether a chemical or cleaning product is safe for a particular material, person, pet, or environment.
6. External retailers and affiliate links
HouseKeepr may provide links or search handoffs to third-party retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, or Target. Product availability, pricing, descriptions, shipping, returns, and transactions are controlled by the retailer, not HouseKeepr.
Some Amazon links may include affiliate attribution, which may allow HouseKeepr to receive a commission from qualifying purchases. Retailer links do not create a guarantee or endorsement of a specific product's suitability or safety.
7. Camera and device features
Camera or photo access is optional and is used only when you choose barcode-related features that require it. You are responsible for granting or denying device permissions through your browser or operating system. Core chore and household features remain available without camera access.
8. Shared households, friends, and content
Information placed into a shared household may be available to other authorized household members. Use reasonable care when entering private information into shared names, notes, or other fields. You must not use HouseKeepr to harass, impersonate, defraud, threaten, or unlawfully access another person or household.
9. Availability and changes
HouseKeepr may add, change, suspend, or remove features as the product evolves. We aim to preserve user data and provide reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Features may depend on browsers, third-party services, retailers, hosting providers, or network conditions outside HouseKeepr's control.
10. Account and data controls
HouseKeepr provides controls for resetting cleaning history, erasing personal cleaning data, leaving or disbanding a household where applicable, and deleting an account. These controls have different effects. Review the confirmation text before using destructive actions.
11. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass HouseKeepr's access controls, obtain another user's private data, interfere with the service, exploit child-profile access to impersonate another profile, introduce malicious code, or use the service for unlawful activity.
12. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HouseKeepr is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that every prediction, recommendation, product match, estimate, or service feature will be accurate, complete, available, or suitable for your particular circumstances.
13. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HouseKeepr is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on an inaccurate household prediction, product recommendation, external retailer information, unavailable third-party service, or a user's failure to follow product or safety instructions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Privacy
Your use of HouseKeepr is also governed by the HouseKeepr Privacy Policy, which explains data handling, child profiles, analytics, device permissions, and deletion choices.
15. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as HouseKeepr changes. The effective date above will be updated when changes take effect. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
